usually , while teaching human rights to university students, I always indicate the issues of the fourth generation of human rights, especially the issue of protecting the rights and dignity of human against the AI. گروهی از فعالان فناوری و متخصصان هوش مصنوعی، از جمله ایلان ماسک، مدیرعامل توییتر، و استیو وزنیاک، بنیانگذار اپل، در نامه‌ای سرگشاده از آزمایشگاه‌های هوش مصنوعی درخواست کرده‌اند کهحداقل برای 6 ماه آینده مدل‌های قدرتمندتر از GpT_4 تولید نکنند. این ابزارهای پیشرفته می توانند تغییرات بزرگی بر روی زمین ایجاد کنند و باید با دقت و با منابع کافی مدیریت شوند. در بخشی از این نامه آمده است که سیستم های هوش مصنوعی که قابلیت رقابت با انسان ها را دارند می توانند خطرات زیادی برای جامعه و بشریت داشته باشند. اگرچه نمی توان انگیزه های رقابتی و تجاری این هشدار را نادیده گرفت. اما این هشدار را نه تنها از منظر حقوق فناوری، بلکه از نظر حقوق بشر و پیشگیری از جرم نیز باید جدی گرفت. حقوقدانان مدتی است که این موضوع را در قالب «نسل چهارم حقوق بشر» با هدف حفظ کرامت انسانی در تحقیقات علمی و در برابر فناوری های جدید دنبال می کنند.
معمولاً در حین آموزش حقوق بشر به دانشجویان، همواره به مسائل مربوط به نسل چهارم حقوق بشر، به ویژه بحث حفظ حقوق و کرامت انسان در برابر هوش مصنوعی اشاره می کنم. به همان اندازه که هوش مصنوعی می تواند به بشریت خدمت کند، می تواند ابزاری برای نقض حقوق بشر نیز باشد. هوش مصنوعی با پردازش رفتار انسان به راحتی می تواند زمینه استثمار انسان را فراهم کند و از این منظر هشدار فعالان در این زمینه باید جدی گرفته شود
